Initial Consultation
Consultation: The first meeting, free of charge, consists of a mutual interview to assess project scope, design ideas, and budget concerns.
Budget: Defining a budget during the initial meeting is important as it allows us to assess more accurately if the clients remodeling needs and his or her budgetary means are in sync. If they are not, we work to create a project that will still please the client but be more affordable.

Design
Analysis (0.25% of total project cost)
During this step, the general scope of the project is defined, and a design contract is signed. We measure the site, take photographs, check up on zoning codes, and narrow down the budget.
Schematic Design (0.25%)
This phase results in a preliminary graphic representation of the design concept (plans, elevation, section) to assess the final scope and feasibility of the project. The client’s input is especially important here to define specifications and work on the selection process. A preliminary cost analysis is also conducted.
Design Development (1%)
The goal of this stage is to present the client with a final design draft, in which the mechanical system, such as HVAC and the electrical system, is verified, and all details are defined. At this point the clients will have finalized their selections and have a much more concrete idea of the project cost.
Construction Documents (2%)
With all specifications known, the designer creates detailed drawings that include all necessary specifications. An in-depth analysis of construction details and methods is conducted, leading to the creation of mechanical drawings, section drawings, framing plans, construction details and elevations. Drawings are also sent out to an engineer for a structural analysis. With this in place the construction contract is signed.

Construction
Before construction can begin, all necessary building permits must be obtained. At this point the client receives a timeline and draw schedule for the project. In addition, subcontractors and inspections are coordinated and dust control is taken under consideration. At the end of construction, a punch list is generated to address any customer concerns and to tie the project together.
